If you enjoy mystery books you might like my series of monastic mysteries entitled Office of the Dead.  Each volume is a complete story but the characters evolve over the series of six books. I'm not sure why, but lots of readers say: "I read them on the beach."  The action takes place in various countries and some parts are fact and much is fiction.
